Accessibility at Voxtome
We want Voxtome to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, a screen reader, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this website, and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a one-time checkbox.
What we've done
- Semantic structure — landmark regions and a logical heading order that screen readers can navigate.
- Keyboard access — a "Skip to content" link and visible focus styles on every page.
- Text alternatives — descriptions on informative images; purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast — text and controls target the AA contrast ratio against our dark theme.
- Accessible forms — every field has a label, and status messages are announced.
- Reduced motion — if your system asks for less motion, animations are disabled and the trailer does not auto-play.
- Media controls — the trailer has keyboard-operable play/pause and mute buttons.
Known limitations
The trailer video does not yet include captions or a transcript. We're working on this — in the meantime, contact us if you need its content in another form.
